Bespoke training and development support for your school/college

Our team can work with you to design and deliver bespoke CPD based on your school/college priorities and timetable logistics. Typically, this will be a focused session between 30 minutes and 1 ½ hours delivered as part of INSET days or as twilight sessions. Audiences can vary including whole school staff, curriculum leads, career champions and governors. Most requested topics include:

  • Embedding Careers in the Curriculum
  •  Careers as the Golden thread for Ofsted
  • Understanding your local labour market
  • The Governors role in helping your school develop best practices in Careers

We can also facilitate access to external CPD opportunities such as industry placements for teacher and employer-led training.

Collaboration and sharing practice

We support educators, employers and other key partners to work together to drive better outcomes for local young people. This includes:

  • Careers Leader network meetings: Every half term we host a virtual meeting for all Careers Leaders across the area to share key careers updates, share best practice, participate in CPD and access related opportunities
  • Pledge Operational meetings: At least termly we bring together groups of schools, colleges, employers and other key stakeholders in local areas to network and collaborate on shared local priorities
  • We can connect educators with like minded peers in other institutions to share practice- this can be on an individual, local or national basis. We also convene Communities of Practice for Post-16 providers and SEND institutions
  • On the 11 January 2023, we brought together over 100 Career Leaders and senior leaders from across our Cheshire and Warrington Careers Hub to connect, share practice and collaborate
