A thriving town that is easily accessible to Crewe
As a thriving town, Nantwich is an exciting place to be with lots of employment, training and further education opportunities for young people in the area. Nantwich is also a haven for independent businesses – particularly those in the construction, logistics, manufacturing and health and social-care sectors.
Within the Nantwich Pledge area, we work with all 3 mainstream high schools and their sixth forms along with the local college, Reaseheath College and a number of youth organisations. Within Crewe and Nantwich we also work with over 200 employers from many different sectors including digital, consultancy, law, construction, engineering and the arts.
How we work
The Pledge Partnership team supports employers and educators to work together to help inspire young people to make well-informed choices about the subjects they choose to study and the careers they want to follow and are equipped to be successful in the labour market.

Pledge contact for employers: Sarah Emes-Young, Nantwich Pledge Facilitator
The Pledge Facilitator connects local employers to schools/colleges to inspire young people about career opportunities within their area. By working with both employers and education providers, they help ensure students are equipped with the skills required to be successful in the local labour market and help them to capitalise on opportunities within our employer’s core offer.
