Mid-Cheshire East Pledge
Growing SMEs and Global multinational businesses
The Mid-Cheshire East Pledge incorporates the towns of Middlewich, Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Sandbach, and Alsager, sitting in-between the Crewe and Macclesfield Pledge areas. Whilst each of these towns have their own business communities, Congleton is the main centre of activity due to the number of employers, business parks and is the base for the East Cheshire Chamber of Commerce.
Within the Mid-Cheshire East Pledge area, all seven of the mainstream high schools and their sixth forms and one special school are engaged. We also work with nearly 50 employers are engaged within the patch.
How we work
The Pledge Partnership team supports employers and educators to work together to help inspire young people to make well-informed choices about the subjects they choose to study and the careers they want to follow and are equipped to be successful in the labour market.
