About The Pledge Partnership

The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership is about putting employers at the heart of informing and inspiring young people. We create a sustainable bond helping bridge the gap between local employers and educators, so that young people develop the right skills for their future careers. This is done through schools and youth groups to ensure visibility of local career and progression opportunities and by supporting them to know what skills and qualities employers are looking for.

The Pledge Partnership areas are defined as Crewe, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Mid Cheshire East, Macclesfield, Nantwich, Northwich, Winsford and Warrington.

The project is managed by Youth Fed and the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership and other public and private sector partners. Each Pledge area is led by a Pledge Facilitator working with the employers and has support from a Career and Enterprise Company’s Enterprise Coordinator working with schools and colleges to bridge the gap. Our Youth Engagement Coordinators work with youth groups and an NHS Trust-funded Heath and Social Care worker support local careers. The Pledges also work closely in providing learning opportunities on the National Citizens Service programme.
