Thursday 27 June

Time: 08:45 - 15:30 GMT

This year the Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership & Careers Hub Annual Conference 2024 ‘Showcasing Best Practice’, is taking place at Chester Town Hall.

We will be exploring how employers, educators and other key local stakeholders can work together to address local priorities and implement best practice. We will also be hosting our annual Pledge Awards for our Education and Employer partners.

The day will focus on three main themes:

  • Quality – How education providers and employers continue to improve provision and engagement, track impact and outcomes. We will hear from young people, educators and employers who are involved in trailblazing work to ensure quality standards.
  • Elevation – Raising the importance of strategic and proactive planning through engagement with Senior Leaders in both schools and businesses, ensuring careers and talent pipeline is part of the fabric of the institution.
  • Collaboration – Attend practical workshops to help maximise our impact by harnessing technology and sharing common language to help us move forwards. The day itself is also a chance to connect and grow your networks and explore collaborative opportunities.

Our esteemed Pledge Awards is our way to say thank you to our existing supporters. However, if you are new to the Pledge, by attending the day, you will gain a real insight into the work the partnership does and have a great opportunity to network.
