The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Conference 2023 – Bridging the Gaps

Join us for The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge Partnership Annual Conference 2023 ‘Bridging the Gaps’ which can only be achieved by working together with local employers and educators. The day will focus on three main themes:

• Skills – there is still a mismatch in our region for skills that employers are looking for and those that young people are choosing to acquire. We will frame our discussions around the findings of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and understanding and gaining more insight from both schools and employers to enable us to implement solutions
• Inclusion – we are working hard to adapt and deliver our core offer across the region but there is still a long way to go. At the heart of our discussions, we look at the Fair Employment Charter for Cheshire and Warrington and hear from young people, educators and businesses who can share best practice
• Opportunity – the day itself offers invaluable opportunity to network with likeminded employers, schools, colleges and education providers across the region. Together we will explore how we ensure we equal opportunity for all

In addition, we will be celebrating our successes and hosting our Pledge Awards as a way of us to say thank you to our existing supporters. However, if you are new to the Pledge, by attending the day, you will gain a real insight into the work we do and a great chance to network.
