Careers and Education Fairs 2023

The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge puts employers at the heart of inspiring the next generation. It is engaged with all mainstream, SEND, Alternative Provision schools and colleges and many youth and community groups as part of our Careers Hub.

We are seeing strong collaboration across schools, resulting in the fact that multiple schools have joined together to attend the Pledge Careers and Education Fair in their locality. Therefore, as an exhibitor instead of going to several schools, you can now attend one or more coordinated town events across the region to maximize the number of students, teachers and other businesses you engage with, completely free.

At each event, you will get the chance to meet hundreds of young people from different schools and colleges. Many schools will be bringing whole year groups at one time and we will open the doors to the general public too.

For the first time, we are also offering the opportunity for organisations to be key sponsors for each Fair. If you would be interested in talking to us about the possibility of partnering with us, and reaching out to thousands of young people, parents/ carers, employers, educators and other partners, then please contact Georgie – email below.

These events are targeted at Year 9-13 students to help them understand what opportunities are available locally in terms of careers and educational pathways but also in terms of securing volunteering and work experience placements for the future.

• Warrington Fair – Your Future Your Choice Move On, in collaboration with Warrington Borough Council – 11th October – 13:00-19:00 (times TBC)
• Northwich Pledge Careers & Education Fair – 12th October – 13:00 – 18:00
• Macclesfield Pledge Careers & Education Fair – 18th October – 10:00-18:00
• Chester Pledge Careers & Education Fair – 19th October – 09:30-18:00
• Ellesmere Port Pledge Careers &Education Fair – 2nd November – 9:00 – 18:00
